Best Supporting Actress (My Favourite Category, only not this year!)
Will Win: Mo’Nique, Precious (Unhappy Jan! All she does is scream, yell and swear… firstly talk about black ghetto stereotypes… jeez louise) [correct]
Possible Upset: Anna Kendrick, Up in the Air (At least she acts, and is the only one who has managed to steal a pre-cursor award from the Mo. I don’t know why people are also suggesting Maggie Gyllenhaal as an upset… instead I’ve heard a lot of backlash against Maggie… but I’d rather Maggie win it, even though she is mediocre in Crazy Heart.)
(I think) Should Win: Up in the Air girls: Vera Farmiga or Anna Kendrick
Another Worthy Winner: Maggie Gyllenhaal for her work in Secretary and SherryBaby.
Not Nominated but A Very Worthy Winner: Samantha Morton, The Messenger. Julianne Moore, A Single Man. And of course, the best… Melanie Laurent for Inglourious Basterds. Damn.

Not Nominated but A Very Worthy Winner: critics darling Tilda Swinton in Julia, Cesar-winner Yolande Moreau in Seraphine, Cannes Best Actress winner Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Aussie Abbie Cornish for Bright Star.
